More comfort in the operation of the Samsung Galaxy Buds. The company from South Korea is currently rolling out an update for its headphones. After the update, you should be able to control the competitors to Apple’s AirPod even easier.
For example, the Galaxy Buds update improves touchpad control when typing twice or thrice, SamMobile reports. In addition, you can now determine over the duration of the pressing, whether you want to turn on the so-called “ambient sound” temporarily or permanently. Although you suppress the ambient noise with the ambient sound, you should be able to perceive an approaching car.
Galaxy Buds: Bixby update not for everyone
The update should also significantly expand the functionality of Bixby. For example, you can use the smart wizard to switch the ambient sound on or off, operate the equalizer or let you know the battery level. It all works without your having to use your hands. Unfortunately, this feature is only available for the English and Korean versions of Bixby.
To install the update for the Galaxy Buds, use the Galaxy Wearable App on your smartphone. If the headphones are connected to the phone, you should automatically receive notification of the availability of the update. Samsung introduced wireless in-ear headphones in February 2019 – along with the Galaxy S10. The market for these gadgets is highly competitive: new competitors come for example from Microsoft and Libratone .
