You may only have to recharge this premium watch once a month: the Huami Amazfit GTR is official. In addition to a very good battery life, the wearable of the Xiaomi partner company shines through extensive equipment. However, the larger version may be more interesting for many of you.
The Amazfit GTR is released in two editions: with 42mm case and 47mm. Especially if you rarely want to charge the smartwatch, you should grab the big model: The battery life should be up to 24 days, reports Venturebeat. In the “Basic Watch” mode, where the wearable acts like a normal watch, up to 74 days with a charge. The 42mm model, however, will bring it to 12 days per charge – or 34 days in the “Basic Watch” mode. For comparison: The Huawei Watch GT comes only on just under 14 days of normal use.
Amazfit GTR supports 12 sports
Despite the high battery endurance the Amazfit GTR offers many functions. It supports about 12 sports. Including swimming and skiing. In addition, a GPS module is installed – so the clock records even without a smartphone connection routes. This is handy if you want to go jogging without your cell phone.
Both models of the Amazfit GTR have a circular AMOLED display. The 47 mm version has a 1.39 inch display. The small version, however, offers a screen with a diagonal of 1.2 inches. Both displays come to a pixel density of 326 ppi – in the sharpness so there should be no differences.
Continuous pulse monitoring
Other features include a heart rate monitor that can monitor your heart rate. In addition, the smartwatch is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters. A stable connection between gadget and mobile phone is supposed to be provided by Bluetooth 5.0. Apparently you can also see notifications from your smartphone with the Amazfit GTR. Both Android and iOS smartphones are supported.
First, the Huami Amazfit GTR appears in China. The 47-mm model costs the equivalent of just under 130 euros. The smaller variant with 42-mm housing wants to offer the manufacturer for the price of just under 100 euros. We assume that the release also takes place in Germany. In this country, however, the wearable should come at a slightly higher price in the trade.
